Through years of efforts and dedications on strategic alliance, IBM GCG Recruitment Program Team has built up close partnership with CDPF(China Disabled Persons’ Federation,中国残联) and other NGOs (Non-Government Organizations).

On June 18th 2009, IBM, as one role model of the best employers for PwDs in China, was invited to CDPF Country-wide PwD High-Level Employment Conference. We participated this conference on behalf of IBM and made a speech about IBM's best practices on PwD recruitment and management, which was highly valued and recognized  by all the on-site 80+ officials of Chinese Government.  At the same time, IBM is the only MNC to be invited to this conference by CDPF.

Meanwhile, we also published the "China PwD Student Employment Survey White Paper” on the conference. This survey was co-worked by IBM GCG Recruitment Program Team and CDPF Employment Service Center, in a joint effort to gain a deeper understanding about the living situation and employment status of China PwD students and also to share IBM's best practices and expectations in terms of corporate citizenship. Data inside covers 58 colleges/universities across China with a sample size of 225 PwD students. The survey findings and IBM's case studies provide a solid data base and practical methodology for lighting the way forward for both employers and the government.
